A lot of tag teams were powerhouses such as The Legion of Doom, The Twin Towers, and The Powers of Pain. These two legends took it to another level with their popular highflying style. Shawn and Jannette played a huge part in WWE’s tag team division in the golden age. They DEFINITELY helped make tag teams big.

#9 The British Bulldogs

The British Bulldogs were a dream team that put on very good technical performances. It consisted of two in ring masterpieces, which were Dynamic Kid, and Davey Boy Smith. They won 2 tag team championships because Vince McMahon had to respect how good these two were. Their gimmick was great (as you can see, they brought actual dogs in the ring. They carried WWE in the Golden age.

#8 The Mega Powers

Hulk Hogan and the Macho Man were the first tag team that was the center of wrestling. In the ring, the crowd would go WILD for Hogan and Savage because they were the two best in WWE, teaming up. Their promos were top notch because of how much charisma both men had. These two are legends teaming with each other.

#7 Legion of Doom

Hawk and Animal were extremely intimidating. The Road Warriors (same team) dominated in the 80s but they dominated even more as the Legion of Doom. They had a jacked up physique, spiked shoulder pads, and scary face paint. Just look at them! They usually just RUN THROUGH their opponents which is a huge draw. Also, Hawk’s promos are top notch.

#6 The Dudley Boyz

“GET THE TABLES!” The Dudley Boyz told some memorable storylines in the early 2000s. They were pretty good on the mic, but were FANTASTIC in the ring. They had one of the greatest triologys in wrestling history against Edge and Christian, and the Hardy Boyz. As you can see, (in the gif) the Dudley Boyz are using their signature table to DEMOLISH their enemy!

#5 Hardy Boyz

The Hardy Boyz are the king of ladders. Jeff would do tons of flips from 20 feet ladders. They have put on countless great matches. Three of them were against the Dudley Boyz and Edge and Christian. Also, they have incredible promos.

#4 Edge And Christian

Both men have won 10 tag team championships! They have won all three TLC matches that the Dudley Boyz and Hardy Boyz were in. Edge did the iconic spear off the ladder. Together, they are the best of the three tag teams.

#3 The New Day

The New Day is the best tag team at speaking on the mic of all time. They have sooooo much charisma. Big E is the power house, Kofi Kingston is the high flyer, and Xavier Woods is a mix of both. They had a great match against The Usos at Hell In A Cell.

#2 The Hart Foundation

The Hart Foundation was made up of Bret Hart and Jimmy Hart. Bret was a technical master and Jimmy was a power house. They had an AMAZING rivalry with the Rockers.

The Usos are the GOAT tag team. They were great heels when in the bloodline. Jey pinned Roman Reigns in the first time in at least 3 years. The Uso splash is an amazing finisher. Together, Jimmy and Jey Uso are the greatest tag team of all time.
