2024 was an amazing year for WWE with amazing matches. Here are the best 12 best of them.

#12 Drew Mclyntire Vs Damien Priest Clash At The Castle

This was a true battle of the heavyweights. Drew hit a claymore but Damien kicked out. Damien hit a choke slam but Drew kicked out. Drew did a claymore through the barrier! Then, CM Punk came out! Punk and Mclyntire faced off. Punk did a low blow to Mclyntire! 1 2 3 Damien won this grueling battle.

#11 Randy Orton and Kevin Owens vs Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga Backlash

This match was an incredible tag team performance. We all expected this to be okay, but they started FIGHTING, and Raw general manager Adam Pearce saw that, so he made it a NO DISQUALIFICATION TAG TEAM MATCH! Later, Kevin Owens did a frog splash through the table, and Solo Sikoa did a Samoan drop through another table. But in the end the bloodline picked up a win.

This was a strap match, and a very good one too. The way a strap match works is, both men are tied to a leather strap and try to tag all four corners, but if your opponent hits a corner when you have a corner hit all your work will be gone. This match had great storyline and some pretty cool moves. In the end Punk tied the score with Drew McIntyre by winning.

#9 Gunther vs Randy Orton Bash In Berlin

This was a very anticipated match. The rivalry was great, Gunther had pinned Orton at King of the Ring but Randy’s shoulders were not on the canvas, so he got a rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. Both men did very well. Gunther won in this match which made him a BIG star (Both men did incredible).

#8 AJ Styles vs Cody Rhodes Clash At the Castle

It was an I quit match for the Undisputed WWE championship. There were chair shots, and they fought in the crowd. But, what I liked a lot was when Cody Rhodes’ mom slapped AJ Styles multiple times. Cody’s face was bleeding, but what ended the match was when Cody was about to hit Styles with the steel steps, but AJ Styles quit, and Rhodes retained the title.

Gunther and Damien Priest had a VERY in intense matchup. Gunther was in this match because he won the whole king of the ring tournament, and got a chance to fight Damien Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship. The best moves included, a chop by Damien Preist that made Gunther bleed and a FRANKENSTEINER by Damien Priest. This was extremely physical.

#6 Ricochet vs Ilja Dragunov RAW May 6 2024

This was a long highflying BATTLE. It was only the first round of the men’s king of the ring tournament but turned out to be amazing. It was long and the crowd loved it, they had a reason to! In the end Ricochet couldn’t get the job done.

#5 Survivor Series Men’s War Games

It was a dream match, The OG Bloodline with CM Punk vs The New Bloodline with Bronson Reed. It was very long and chaotic, with some CRAZY moves. They include a TSUNAMI FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE, AND MISSED THROUGH A TABLE BY BRONSON REED! Another move includes an USO SPLASH FROM THE TOP OF THE CAGE! Great storyline in the match too, like when Roman blocked Punk from going into the match, but then later, Punk stopped Roman from coming in. All in all the OG BLOODLINE (with Punk) beat their opponents.

#4 Sami Zayn vs Gunther WrestleMania 40

Sami Zayn was the underdog, who wanted to beat Gunther for the prestigious Intercontinental championship. The brainbuster from the top rope was cool, Gunther’s chops were amazing, and Sami Zayn having the most emotional victory of his entire career was incredible. Also, Gunther had great heel work bullying Sami.


#3 AJ Styles vs. Cody Rhodes Backlash

This was the LOUDEST match since Rock vs Hogan at WrestleMania 18. There is a reason it is rated 5 stars, not only the crowd did an INCREDIBLE performance, also the match too. AJ Styles did a brainbuster on the ring apron, and Cody did countered a drop kick into a powerbomb through the announce table. Seriously, you need to see this spectacle.

This match saved the HIAC gimmick. They used all the weapons, the cell, wrenches, chains, steel steps, steel chairs, and tables. The kick outs were top notch, Punk tried a GTS then a whole lot of counters happened, he hit the GTS, then he hit the GTS but Drew rolled out of the ring. When he came back in Drew hit a claymore out of nowhere, but Punk kicked out! Drew suplexed Punk through the table from the ring apron. Drew missed a claymore and then landed on the steel steps. Punk hit Mclyntire with a toolbox to make him bleed BAD. Punk even did a sharp shooter, the same move that made Drew tap in Bash In Berlin. Drew tried a version of the body slam and Punk countered into the anaconda vice. Drew did a white noise on the steel steps. Drew even brought out the same beads that he used to torment Punk with. Finally Punk hit the GTS on the metal chain.

Roman Reigns is the BIG DOG, he had held the WWE Universal Championship for more than 1,300 DAYS! That was one of the longest Championship reign in WWE of all times. Cody had lost to Roman at Wrestlemania 39 main event and was looking to “Finish the story”. Jimmy and Jey USO came out and Jey did a spear to Jimmy from the entrance ramp, through tables! Then Solo Sikoa came out… Oh, it’s JOHN CENA, and then he attitude adjusted Solo right through the announce table! After that, THE ROCK came in to help Roman, and beat Cody with a belt. Nobody was expecting THE UNDERTAKER to come out and CHOKE SLAM The Rock! In the end, Cody hit three crossroads and FINISHED THE STORY!!!!!
