Matches are what can make or break a WWE superstar. These incredible in ring performers definitely made it…

#5 Kurt Angle

Angle is a great technical wrestler. With his unmatched submissions and suplexes he can almost put on an amazing performance on command. In the picture, Kurt is literally German Suplexing not one but TWO wrestlers, that just shows his awesome skills and strength. He has so many great matches it is hard to count them (his best was against Chris Benoit at Royal Rumble 2003). Check out more about Kurt at Wrestlingbros.com’s Kurt Angle Top 5 matches.

#4 The Undertaker

The Undertaker was a kind of mid in the squared circle in WCW and in his early days In WWE. But, The Deadman REALLY stepped it up in the late 1990s with his extremely good in ring work, having a couple awesome matches. They include when the Undertaker fought Shawn Micheals at Badd Blood 1997 and at Royal Rumble 1998, and when he fought Mankind at King of the Ring 1998. Later, he had the greatest match of all time against Shawn Michaels in 2009. Finally, Taker ended his career with a classic against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania 36.

#3 Bret Hart

Bret was a technical master. His finisher, the sharpshooter, was stuff of legends. The Hitman could pull off great matches on whatever show he was on and never showed any fear in front of a huge crowd. What was awsome was his perfect counters and his ability to do a move when it is the right time in the match. But, what was EVEN better, was his perfect sells. Hart made wrestling look real and not fake in a time that it was really important to do that. He hasn’t really overdone a move, making the times when Hart went from the ropes seem special. Bret Hart is a master technician.

#2 Ric Flair

Ric Flair is simply one of the best of all time. His in ring skills certainly show this with TONS of stellar matches. They include matches against Ricky Steamboat, Barry Windham, and Sting. You should really check out Wrestlingbros.com’s top 5 Ric Flair matches in WWE and WCW, which is a 5 star post (in my judgment). His style is being a technician (Ric is a better technician than Bret Hart) Flair wrestled in a time where there were just boring matches where a sleeper hold would last 8 minutes or something. Ric took his style to another level.

#1 Shawn Micheals

Shawn Micheals is simply the best in ring performer that has ever lived in WWE and WCW. HBK has SO many amazing matches that it takes me to think really hard to name them all. Shawn could pull off a technical masterpiece by command or a bloody brawl too (Micheals could do a match anyway he wanted and make it good). Also, Micheal’s sells are top notch, making his opponents look good (very rarely did he oversell, but he has). Shawn was an INCREDIBLE in ring performer with the Rockers, he got better when he dumped Marty Jannetty, and got even better after his injury, putting on a solid match pretty much every time he was in the squared circle. You should check out Wrestlingbros.com’s Top Shawn Micheals matches.
